Organic Cran-Aid is an herbal tea that is used to help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections. Adults and children over 12 years: Drink 2 to 3 cups daily in addition to ample water.
Directions
Pour 240 mL freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag and steep, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extract. Teas containing uva ursi leaf are not for long-term daily use without medical advice. If symptoms persist beyond 1-2 weeks, consult a health care practitioner.
Medicinal Ingredients
Each tea bag (2g) contains: Organic cranberry fruit dry concentrate (Vaccinium macrocarpon) 260 mg, organic uva ursi leaf (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) 180 mg, organic cleavers herb (Galium aparine) 180 mg, organic marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) 180 mg.
Non-medicinal Ingredients
Organic hibiscus flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa), organic chamomile flower (Matricaria recutita), organic rose hip (Rosa canina), organic peppermint leaf (Mentha x piperita), organic stevia leaf (Stevia rebaudiana).
Cautions
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a history of kidney stones. If symptoms persist consult a health care practitioner.
Contraindications
Not for use during pregnancy, while nursing, or by children under 12 years. Do not use if you have an allergy to Asteraceae/Compositae (daisy) family.
Side Effects
Teas containing uva ursi leaf may cause nausea or vomiting in individuals and children with sensitive stomachs.
