Jamieson's Zinc Lozenges with Vitamins C & D contain bioavailable zinc citrate, which is readily absorbed by the body. Vitamins C and D have been added to enhance the immune system and to restore and maintain optimal health.

Directions

Adults: Take at first sign of sore, dry throat, cold, or flu. Dissolve lozenges slowly in the mouth with a meal. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications. Maximum of 10 lozenges daily. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.

Ingredient Information

Elemental Zinc 5 mg (Zinc Citrate); Vitamin C 50 mg; (Ascorbic Acid) Vitamin D3 2.5 mcg / 100 IU (Cholecalciferol)

Non-Medicinal Supporting Nutrients: Echinacea angustifolia extract

Excipients: Sorbitol, Fructose, Cellulose, Natural Blackberry, Vegetable Stearic acid, Vegetable Magnesium Stearate, Natural Bilberry Flavour.

Restrictions

Drug Interactions: Antibiotics: quinolones and tetracyclines - zinc may reduce effectiveness. Take zinc at least 2 hours after ingesting these medications.

Warnings and Precautions: Zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency. Consult a health care practitioner if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis; if you are taking immunosuppressants; if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if symptoms persist or worsen.

Toxicity, Adverse Warnings and Side Effects: Zinc Lozenges should be limited to short term therapy, such as the treatment of cold symptoms for about 1 week.
