By increasing urine flow and relieving bladder and urinary tract inflammation, Jamieson Herbal Diuretic is recommended for the relief of edema (abnormal body tissue fluid retention) and as a urinary tract antiseptic. It is an effective and safe approach to genitourinary health that combines two effective herbal remedies: Uva Ursi Leaf Extract and Buchu Leaf Extract.

Uva Ursi Leaf Extract is used as a mild disinfectant of the urinary tract especially in cases of irritation of the kidneys or bladder. It contains arbutin, tannins and hydroquinone, which all possess antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Buchu Leaf Extract is used as a diuretic and a urinary antiseptic.
