Drug Interactions: Although there are no specific studies demonstrating interactions with anticoagulants, red clover contains coumarin-like substances that may interact with this group of drugs. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you currently take any anti-coagulant medications (i.e. heparin, warfarin), conjugated estrogens (i.e. premarin), or Ticlopidine.

Warnings and Precautions: Adverse effects with herbs with anticoagulant/antiplatelet potential, herbs with estrogenic activity, anticoagulant drugs, estrogen and oral contraceptives.
