Jamieson's Probio-Tec Quatro is a shelf-stable, next-generation probiotic supplement that helps to maintain and restore the intestinal microflora. Each capsule is formulated to contain a minimum of one billion active cells (four billion at time of manufacture) provided by a combination of four probiotic cultures, including Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5, Bifidobacterium BB-12, Streptococcus thermophilus (STY-31) and Lactobacillus delbrueckii (LBY-27). A unique polysaccharide matrix delivery system protects the probiotics to ensure that they survive passage through the stomach and reach the intestinal tract where they are needed.

Directions

Jamieson Advanced 4-Strain Probiotic is most effective when taken with food and water.

For general intestinal health: Take 1 to 3 capsules daily.

For travel: Take 1 capsule three times daily. Start two days before departure and continue until two days after return.

To counteract antibiotic side effects: Take 2 to 3 capsules daily during antibiotic treatment (three hours after antibiotic use). Continue for one week after treatment has concluded.

Drug Interactions: None known when taken as directed.

Nutrient Depletions: Antibiotics (amebidices/aminoglycosides, anti-infectives). Probiotics protect against diarrhea caused by antibiotics.

Supportive Interactions: Anti-acne drugs (helps promote healthy bacteria), anti-ulcer drugs, penicillins (anti-infectives) may reduce frequency of diarrhea.

Warnings and Precautions: Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition.
