It is an immune enhancer and natural antibiotic. Echinacea stimulates certain white blood cells and has anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties. It is used for colds, flu and other infectious illnesses. The angustifolia variety is more widely used in Europe; although, the North American purpurea variety was widely used by early native peoples. Both varieties appear to be equally effective. This herb contains betaine, copper, echinacen, echinacin B, echinacoside, echinolone, enzymes, arabinose, fructose, fatty acids, galactose, glucose, insulin, iron, pentadecadiene, polysaccharides, polyacetylene, potassium, protein, rhamnose, resin, sucrose, sulfur, tannins, xylose, vitamins A, C and E.

Cautions

Continuous use of more than 8 weeks is not recommended. Avoid if allergic to plants from the Sunflower family

2-3 capsules, 3 times per day.
