Manuka Honey is harvested from hives situated in remote and wild parts of New Zealand. The bees are not fed sugar and the hive is not robbed of all its honey which otherwise starves the bees to death during winter.
Because it is has not been over-heated or over processed, Green Bay Raw Manuka Honey is harvested at summer hive activity temperature, golden coloured and contains high levels of bee pollen and has the aroma and distinctive malty taste of the Manuka nectar.
We test each barrel of honey on a range of quality measures and a 10g sample routinely contains an incredible 500,000 grains of pollen.
Usage
For general consumption, we recommend a teaspoon a day. Either straight off a spoon or on toast, in yoghurt or mixed in with cereal.

Clearly honey is a sugar and should therefore be eaten in limited quantities as part of a balanced diet.
Not suitable for babies or children less than one year old.
